Black Friday/Cyber Monday/Travel Tuesday Deals
Everyone knows of Black Friday deals, and most likely you have shopped Cyber Monday deals at this point - but it has come to my knowledge that not everyone knows that the day after Cyber Monday has now been deemed Travel Tuesday with all things travel related and trips are discounted. This year Travel Tuesday 2025 is on December 2nd, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, and will feature numerous travel deals on flights, hotels, and packages.
Don’t get confused by all of the different names of and the days. Some companies will call the “Black Friday Deals” even though it is related to travel and not available only on “Travel Tuesday”. It’s all the same, it’s just that the travel industry has added their own day for deals to be known and taken advantage of!
Although many deals are already live, the official 2025 sale days are as follows:
Black Friday: Nov. 28
Cyber Monday: Dec. 1
Travel Tuesday: Dec. 2
Some companies like Expedia, Cheap Caribbean and Arlo Hotels have already started their travel deals and are going on NOW. Although you will find some deals going on now the majority of the HUGE discounts will happen on Travel Tuesday this year so keep an eye out for these. I like to set alerts and reminders for whatever you are specifically looking for.
Tips for finding the best deals:
1. Use flexible date search (+/− 3 days) and multiple nearby airports (PHL, EWR, JFK, BWI). The more flexible you are with your plans, the more likely you are to get a better deal.
2. Pre sign in / join the loyalty programs (Expedia/OneKey, Hilton Honors, airline email lists) — member prices often beat public prices and you will get the deals in your inbox first.
3. Compare OTA (Online Travel Agency) with the direct site. For Ex: Compare Priceline with Marriott’s site.
4. Be ready to book on Travel Tuesday. Have your relevant information like CC, ID or passport ready to go so when you flash deal comes up you can immediately book.

Flights
A lot of the flight deals have not been released yet and if you have ever looked for deal for a flight for Black Friday/Cyber Monday/Travel Tuesday you may know that they try to keep them secret as long as possible. Airlines will release a flash sale and you just need to be ready to book then! We are going to continue to look for deals and add them when we see them but here is what I expect to see in the coming week ⤵️
What I’m expecting to see for flight deals after lots of research and realistic expectations:
U.S. → Western Europe: sale economy roundtrips often $300–$600 (low-$300s on good routes).
U.S. → Caribbean / Mexico / Latin America: one-ways $49–$199; roundtrips $150–$400 commonly.
U.S. → Asia / Australia: deeper sales less common; expect $600–$1,200+ depending on origin/dates.
Domestic U.S.: one-ways frequently as low as $39–$129 in flash sales.
